w I d e aWAKE by Christina Maxwell

I want you to be someone like me,
To fit in, to the land of opportunity.
Caught in the illusion of time,
I stop, resting on a dime.

A spot to save,
  the Collision of bound faith.
BOUNDLESS am I,
  to another’s eyes.
Reckless despair,
Protrudes from the pangs unclear.
It was a listening,
An act of intent.
Not hearing the call, or
  understanding what you meant.

BREATHLESS
I fall,
w I d e aWake.

Christina Maxwell is among other talents, a writer whom describes herself… i, the temporal i, am Tina. I came in to this “BEingness” in 1971. The path I chose in this life has brought with it many lessons; which, upon “turning IN” ~ “turned OUT” to be blessings in disguise. Life has been, and continues to be, my greatest teacher. I have learned, or perhaps, a better expression is “un”learned a lot about mySELF along the way. I am a feeler, I feel my way around and through this world. I have an empathic knowingness that leads me to where I need to BE. I have a passion for writing and the healing arts. I have studied USUI Reiki and have been initiated by the 9 great rites of the Munay-Ki. In Quechua Munay-Ki means “I love you” or “Be As Thou Art” and that is where I choose to reside; in the vibration of I love you. I love nature and feel most at home amongst the trees. They hold sacred knowledge and offer great wisdom to those in their company. I practice daily contemplation and have adopted mindfulness as a way of BEing wIth and IN the world. www.journeyinghome.com
