Return to My Heart by Michele Markos
Come home my love and leave this world of illusion behind, you have
fought the battle well and with every step I have been there with
you…return to my heart where you will find comfort and peace…
now take my hand and walk with me.

Michele Markos has been writing poetry for 18 years. Her writing started after a near death experience in 1993. She resides in the breathtaking scenery of the mountains that surround her home in North Georgia. She is a loving mother of a beautiful little girl named Sophia, which she claims is ‘the inspiration’ for much of her writing. Before being a full-time mother, she spent 15 years as an operating room surgical tech, and when she is not being a mom or fulfilling her passion for writing, she enjoys contributing to her community as a volunteer for her towns local Good Samaritans.
