i love you because i do
i do not have a reason
or a paper to give to you
telling you why
i do not know

one day i looked at the sky
and there you were
smiling at me

i love you i do not know
sometimes i think i do
but that is just me trying
to be smart
deep inside i have no clue
why i do love you
and not any other one
but i do not care
at all to know
as it is in your eyes
my eyes glow

i love you as i love me
it is a strange way of loving
this one i am in
there is no taking or receiving
or thanking and giving
they are all mixed
as if all of them were one
just like me and you

intertwined
in the eternal mist of time
forever hidden
forever transparent
to those who love

i love you
yes i do
no reason i need
i need just you

close by, near
all that you are, here
courage and fear
mixed again
and my love for you
always the same
